Pupils from Chapmanslade School move on to a variety of secondary schools.
The majority of our pupils progress to Matravers School in Westbury, Kingdown School in Warminster or Beechen Cliff School in Bath (boys only).
All of the above schools hold open days and information evenings for prospective parents and pupils. Dates can be found in our Diary and Newsletter. We work closely with all secondary schools chosen by our pupils to ensure a smooth transition, including welcoming visits from key Year 7 staff.
Our pupils have also been successful in securing places at selective schools including King Edward’s School, Bath, Warminster School, Millfield and South Wiltshire Grammar School (girls only).
If you would like to discuss any aspect of your child applying for an academically selective school, either Grammar or Independent, Mr Cottrell would be very happy to meet with you. However, early visits to prospective schools are highly recommended in the first instance as such visits usually give an accurate insight into whether or not a school is right for your child. School websites give a wealth of information and are the best starting point.
