Sports Day 2026

Our Annual Sports Day was a Roaring Success!

Well done to Yellow House for winning this year!

Pupils, parents and staff had a wonderful time celebrating our annual sports day - so many smiles were to be seen!

Each child participated in 4 races - a running race, 2 fun races (chosen by individual cohorts) and a class relay race. We were so impressed by everyone's determination and teamwork - cheering everyone on until they crossed the finish line.

Fun races this year included: hurdles, sack races, egg & spoon races, wheelbarrow race, balancing races, obstacle race, as well as some made-up races - the 'penguin race', the 'waiter race' and, our EYFS' favourite - the 'shopping race'!

Our final race of the day was the Chapmanslade Special - Y6 Leavers' Race, where our leavers are invited to dress up as 'something they would like to be when they grow older'.

It was a close call by the end, with Yellow House just edging ahead of Red House by only 2 points! All pupils in Yellow House received a medal, before doing a victory lap with the House Cup.
